Touch prize is just the ticket for trip down under Paul Wood, a fabricator with HM Stainless of Batley in West Yorkshire, has enjoyed a flying start to 2008. He has just won an Apple I Pod Touch in the Adaptaflex Christmas scratch card promotion and is taking it straight off on holiday to New Zealand.
Paul uses Adaptaflex flexible conduit and fittings in his work fabricating stainless steel shop counters - one of the company's major clients is Greggs with 1200 outlets throughout the country. The first scratch card he picked up at his local wholesaler, Edmundson Electrical in Leeds, proved be the lucky one – and the I Pod couldn't have come at a better time for Paul who has a long haul flight to look forward to!
“We're flying off to New Zealand next week to see family and friends who have recently emigrated” he explains. “It will be the trip of a lifetime for us - we've never had winter sun before - and now I've got music for the plane and the beach!”
The Adaptaflex ‘Big 4 Bonanza' promotion took place at electrical wholesalers nationwide throughout December. As well as two Apple I Pods, customers had the chance to win Tom Tom ONE satellite navigation systems, Sony DAB digital radios and go into the prize draw for a Sony VAIO laptop.
“Our Christmas promotion is always a popular one” commented Ann Timmons, Group Product Manager of Adapfaflex. “Giving out the prizes is great fun and we're particularly pleased that this one will be put to such good use so quickly!”
